Zenit longboard is a Montreal (Quebec, Canada) based company who started rollin’ around 5 years ago. Since then, more than 15 models and prototypes have been created and perfected to reach the perfect design for each discipline they offer: Shred, Cruiser, Tricks and Freeride.
Their mission is clear: “Guided by passion, Zenit manufactures high quality longboards by combining quality materials with the latest innovations. Designed in Canada, Made in Canada.”
To make that happen, they modelize their boards entirely at prototype stage. Keeping secret many of their unique fabrication techniques which allow them the most precision during the manufacturing process. They have, in fact, customized their own CNC and press.
Zenit boards’ primarily have a core mode of Canadian maple veneer with other wood species, such as sapele, ash and cherry that are used at top and bottom. Top end high performance materials such as biaxal carbon fibers and triaxial fiber glass complete the inner board layers. All boards are finished by hand with epoxy and polyurethane varnish.
