“This is the closest thing to surfing that I’ve ever felt.” – Surfer Hall of Fame Taylor Knox describing his first time on a Carver Skateboard.
Carver’s new line up is hitting the year with some updated goodies. All their boards come with performance griptape, improved C2 back truck, stainless steel hardware, and to top it all off the Roundhouse wheels have had a face lift.
The C2 Rear Truck’s precision-machined pivot pin is the smoothest truck on the market. This classic skate truck is made to work in tandem with the carvey goodness that is the Carver C7. We saw it on a few of their boards but NOW all Carver decks will be gripped with Performance Griptape. This new grip features a courser traction pad at the tail for extra grip where you need it most.
Because why not, Carver completes come built with STAINLESS STEEL hardware and washers. This marine grade hardware eliminates those rusty bolts on the top of your grip tape forever. The new 70mm wheel features new graphics and a revised urethane formula for increased grip and faster roll speed.
Edoardo Papa has been perfecting his surfing technique on a Carver for years. As a member of the Italian National Surf Team and coming up through the ISA Surfing ranks, Edoardo is an example that hard work pays off. We had a chance to film with him over the summer, check out his power flowing lines on the back streets of Venice and West LA.
