The Ace AF1 Hollow Trucks are the lightest version of the AF1 line, featuring a hollow axle and kingpin that reduce weight by 8.6% compared to the standard AF1. Manufactured using Ace’s proprietary casting process, these trucks boast a 70% increase in aluminum’s structural integrity, making them the strongest cast trucks available.
With a hanger width of 5.6” (143mm) and a height of 2.1” (53mm), the AF1 Hollows offer excellent stability and control. Built from high-quality AA 356.2 alloy and true T6 heat-treated baseplates and hangers, they are made to last. SAE 4140 steel alloy axles are oversized to eliminate bearing wobble, ensuring smoother rides and better bearing contact.
The trucks come equipped with durable 96a urethane pivot bushings and a refined suspension for precise turning. Patent-pending rethreading axle nuts solve the problem of damaged axle ends. Each truck includes a bonus gold Axle Re-Threader Die, which identifies the model as a Hollow, providing an easy maintenance solution.
