There is no getting around it; Boosted 105s are big. Designed to perform in the toughest terrain, the increased diameter gives you a new level of confidence to traverse over larger cracks, divots, and even train and tram tracks. No need to be timid, you can now take those tracks head on. A larger wheel-to-gear ratio gives the Boosted board a higher top speed. These wheels are perfect for riders who are itching for that little extra on the throttle. In exchange for higher top speed, acceleration and braking performance are less aggressive. Be sure to get used to the slightly different ride feel and make any necessary adjustments as stopping distance may be longer.
The 72a durometer urethane delivers a comfortable, smooth ride. The wheels are soft enough to give you extra cushion, but firm enough to remain durable for thousands of miles. The rounded sidewalls enhance the smoothness of the ride, reduce chipping, and allow for easy curb climbing.
Boosted 105s are designed specifically for Boosted boards. The Boosted engineers spent countless hours testing geometries, experimenting with grips, and optimizing shock absorption.
Boosted 105s feature Hollow Pour Technology, a custom urethane pouring process that we designed to form twelve hollow pockets on the inside surface of each wheel. These pockets give extra space for the soft urethane to flex and compress with the contours and bumps in the road, making the ride exceptionally smooth and allowing the wheels to maintain contact even on the roughest of roads.
Boosted 105s are built with precision metal pulleys so they’re more efficient, quieter, and longer lasting. These upgraded pulleys will also increase the lifespan of your belts. The new Boosted stone grinding method means there is no need to wear in these wheels. From day one, they will have the same constant grip and performance as they will on day 100.
