NAZARE TECH:
The Lacroix Nazare’s new deck went through 13 iterations before the concave and flex was just right. It had been tested over 9 different motors before the 6389 being deemed the best option. Every detail was reviewed. From all the single little screws (which are now all titanium) to the connector of the charger.
You can choose from 2 different flexes: Regular flex (pre-planed 6 ply Canadian maple sheets -same flex as 5 regular un-planed plys) which is good up to 250lbs. The Stiff flex (pre-planed 7 ply Canadian Maple sheet that has the same flex as 6 regular plys) which is good for up to 350lbs (and for those who prefer a stiffer deck).
BATTERY:
1089wh – the Lacroix Nazare is fueled by a 12s6p battery pack made of Sanyo NCR20700B cells. It’s monstrous and it’ll go for hours without drops in power and you won’t get enough of it. With a high quality battery design like this, it ensures you will be getting the best performance possible. With purchase, a 12 amp charger is included. The approximate charge time from zero to full is 2.5 – 3 hours.
RANGE:
The range of the Nazare Lonestar is unlike any other. Thanks to the 12S12P battery pack made of Sanyo NCR20700B cells, you can ride in confidence without any battery sag. Featuring an approximate rangeof 37 miles (60 km) for a 200 pound rider. Reminder that battery range may vary per rider and their riding style.
INTEGRATED LIGHTS:
A nice addition to this beast of a ride to ensure safety and provide visibility through all conditions while riding. Coming with (2) integrated highend customized removable front lights with CREE XM-L2 U2 LEDs that connect directly into the board’s battery with a high end waterproof connector. These lights are capable up to 2000 lumens each (4000 lumens total). There are 4 intensities to choose from (200 lumen, 800 lumen, 1400 lumen and 2000 lumen). Mounted to the Hypertruck with a custom Lacroix GoPro mount. Rated IP65 (the lights, not the board, simmer down).
LACROIX HYPERTRUCKS:
Chiseled to hair splitting precision out of a huge brick of aerospace 7075 aluminum with a 5 axis CNC. The Hypertrucks were designed from the ground up by Lacroix in conjunction with Brad T. Miller (of RipTide Sports) and an experienced DIY e-board mechanical CAD sorcerer (Pedro Paganini De Mio).
As a result, these are a 19 inch wide high precision Hypertruck™ with triple bearing axles (12mm and 17mm) axles made to hold a bearing in the wheel pulley, all of which self corrects speed wobbles. The trucks are engineered to attenuate the wobbles, not amplify them. If they do start to occur, the trucks work so you don’t get to that “oh shit” moment. On a medium-loose setup, if you start to feel wobbles around 33mph+, simply let off the throttle for a very slight moment and the trucks will automatically self correct and stabilize. After the magic happens, bend your knees, hit that throttle again, and go.
