With the death of the Loaded Ceviche comes the Loaded Poke. Continuing the legacy of the Fish and Ceviche, the Poke is the newest phase of an evolving tradition
The Loaded Poke features a directional shape that encourages a spirited and surfy riding style. In addition to this fun shape, an ample kicktail has been incorporated to provide strong leverage for sliding and freestyle trickery, while a subtle nose allows for manuals and shuvits.
The mild concave characteristic of the deck promotes quick edge-to-edge transitions when carving, pumping, and slashing. With a rockered profile and a subtle flex, these two combine for an enhanced riding comfort and easy pushing.
Overall, the Poke has a light and durable design from a snowboard-inspired bamboo and fiberglass construction. This provides riders with a lightweight strength and subtle flex for a comfortable an engaging ride.
CARVER CX TRUCK:
The Carver CX Truck is Carver’s reverse kingpin hybrid skate trucks which are their lightest and snappiest pumping truck. What gives it this ability, patented geometry that squeezes every bit of turn and pump from the system.
With the patented design, this means that you can pump this truck like a C7, but the CX lands airs and rides fakie with more stability in comparison. This opens up aerial maneuvers, and keys in with the latest progression of airs in surfing. The CX also has more pump and a tighter turning radius than any other reverse kingpin truck on the market, but without any other parts. It has a similar feel to that of the C7 but is less extreme, so if you want a more familiar feel to your board but want to pump and surf, then the CX is the truck you want on a board like this. The CX trucks are ideal for progressive airs, reverses, and anyone who prefers a snappy turn.

As a result, in celebration of the Poke’s release, local ambassadors Ari Chamasmany and Daniel Fissmer took our visiting Swedish ambassadors Alex Ellhage and Petter Hagman on a fast-paced tour of Los Angeles with filmmaker Andrew Ackerman frantically in tow. In addition, the boys have a blast ripping the new board together in a variety of riding styles across Echo Park, Silver Lake, and Chinatown.
