This is where the Mellow Drive brings its power to the streets. Two custom made in-wheel motors deliver high performance and 40km/h (25 mph) top speed with virtually no noise.

The frame is the backbone of the Mellow drive. It’s a one piece component cast of metal. No screws, no seams, no glue. The magnesium mad frame, which is even lighter than aluminum, is a solid protection for the battery against curbs and impacts of all kind. The cl-in mechanism, makes it snuggle tightly into the frame and releases it by the push of a button. And with its standard 6 hole truck bore, the frame fits under any deck.

The swappable battery pack is a tailor made solution for the Mellow Drive. At 99Wh it has a maximum range of 15km (10 miles) and is thus also certified for air travel. It even has a USB port to rejuice your devices on the go.
Due to the high quality lithium ion cells from the Tesla supplier and a battery management system that monitors and protects it all the time, this battery pack comes with a 1 year warranty.

The custom-built Mellow slide control gives you perfect control over throttle and brake. Designed and developed from scratch, the Mellow Remote is a one button device that out grows the look and feel of all the toy remotes out there.
It fits perfectly into the palm of your hand nd gets all functions under one thumb. Push to accelerate, pull to brake. You can switch between the four riding modes: Rookie, Eco, Pro & Endless Ride (pushing with cruise control) with integrated LEDs.

The Brakes: Mellow has a dual braking system that #1 regenerates your battery and #2 still works when you are fully charged. Whereas most of the existing rides switch their brakes off at that point.
The Mellow App for iOS and Android is the interface between the control center of your Mellow Drive and the support behind it. You can choose your riding mode, monitor the data of your rides, sync or split two Mellow Drives as 4 x 4 share and interact with the Mellow community or get in touch with the service whenever you need to.

FAQ
“Can I also split the Mellow 4×4 and use it on two different boards?”
Yes, this is one of the big advantages of the 4×4 setup. You can synch and unsynch the two Mellow Drives via the app and also use them on two seperate boards. All you need is a second remote.
“How does the 4×4 setup effect the speed and range of my board?”
The top speed of a 4×4 setup is the same as of the single drive, that’s a physical law. But it comes with a crazy acceleration. The range on the other hand theoretically doubles. But this obviously depends on how you ride your board.
So if you think, “This looks like nothing else I’ve ever seen.”, then you’re damn right. With this concept Mellow is challenging existing electric board standards in terms of design, quality and sustainability.
