The Powell Peralta Steve Caballero Gundam FLIGHT Skateboard Deck merges cutting-edge skateboard technology with the legacy of one of skateboarding’s most influential figures, Steve Caballero. Designed in the classic Shape 244, this deck is built using Powell Peralta’s innovative FLIGHT® technology, known for its unparalleled durability, enhanced pop, and lightweight construction.
Made in the USA from premium U.S. hard rock maple and reinforced with high-strength fiberglass, it is fused with epoxy resin through AirLam technology, ensuring a longer-lasting, high-performance ride. The deck measures 8.5 inches wide and 32.08 inches long, with a 14.375-inch wheelbase, providing a stable platform for skaters of all styles. The nose and tail are 6.88 inches and 6.63 inches, respectively, offering well-balanced control and versatility. Featuring a K20 medium concave, the deck delivers a balanced feel, ideal for both street and transition skating.
The vibrant Gundam-inspired graphics, designed in-house using non-solvent-based inks, not only reflect Powell Peralta’s commitment to cleaner production but also pay homage to Steve Caballero’s iconic status in both skateboarding and pop culture. Caballero, a pro since 1977, is celebrated for pioneering tricks like the Caballerial, and his influence has earned him a well-deserved place in the Skateboarding Hall of Fame.
