Vernon Courtlandt Johnson’s art shows a skeleton exploding from a jack-in-the-box, a raw metaphor for breaking free and embracing individuality. This maple edition is pressed from 7-ply hard rock maple for that classic pop and feel riders have trusted for decades. Sized at 9.5″ wide, 31.13″ long, with a 14.63″ wheelbase, 5.5″ nose, and 6.8″ tail, it delivers a solid, balanced platform with responsive K26 concave for control. Powell-Peralta’s AirLam construction ensures strength and consistency, while non-solvent inks bring VCJ’s art to life with foil and fluorescent hits. This version of Chris’s deck comes pressed from traditional 7-ply hard rock maple, delivering the classic feel riders have trusted for decades. With a 9.5″ width, 31.13″ length, and a 14.63″ wheelbase, paired with a 5.5″ nose and 6.8″ tail, it offers a stable platform for power skating while still keeping responsive control underfoot. The K26 concave locks you in, while Powell-Peralta’s USA construction and AirLam bonding process ensure durability ride after ride.

Graphics are printed in-house with non-solvent inks, featuring foil and fluorescent hits that bring VCJ’s art to life. Each board may show slight visual variations due to the unique ink process. Collectors should handle with care and avoid UV exposure to preserve the art for the long run.
