This Powell Peralta Mcgill Skull & Snake Reissue features the concave similar to the originals. With a mold designed to give a great old school feel to Powell’s impressive reissue line up, this deck will have you feeling like your back in the ’80s again! The mold is designed for functionality and is a strict single kick and is also made of higher quality materials which do not fluctuate over time, giving skaters a more consistent deck to its true form.
Just as Mike McGill was perfecting the 540 McTwist in the summer of 1984 at Swedish summer camp, V.C.J. was working on a new deck graphic for him. Since the “Skull & Bones” theme was proving to be popular, that was the direction chosen for McGill’s new deck. Mike’s input was to add the snake and lightning bolts since there is an abundance of both in his home state of Florida. McGill’s Skull & Snake is truly a classic skateboard icon.

Powell Peralta is an American skateboard company founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta in 1978. It became known for its Bones Brigade team, which included top skateboarding competitors of the 1980s.
Peralta left the company in 1991 and Powell continued to produce skateboard equipment under the Powell, Bones Bearings, and RollerBones brands. CalStreets or CSI was the company's second distributor in Canada after Northwest Skateboards.
