The RAD Max Ballesteros Influence wheels are winning races left, right, and center!
The Max Ballesteros Influence wheels from Rider Approved Designs features a brand new high rebound formula with a softer durometer of 77a to help maximize the roll speed and provide the right amount of grip through corners.
The inner lips of these wheels have also been extended 3mm to provide the rider with a wider 61mm contact patch, opposed to the 58mm contact patch on the traditional RAD Advantage wheels. This puts the core closer to a centerset profile, which provides more grip and prevents coning from occurring.

intentions of going fast. Roll

proprietary high rebound
urethane to maximize speed.
While the shape is based of
the Advantage, the urethane
changes the ride characteristic
to suit Max Ballesteros’ “go-fast”

Rider Approved Designs introduces the Max Ballesteros Influence. This Pro-model features a proprietary high rebound urethane to maximize roll speed. While the shape is based off the Advantage, the unique urethane changes the ride characteristic to suit Max’s go fast style of riding. After finalizing the urethane formula, Max settled on the softer 77a durometer to maximize grip with the higher rebound urethane. It features the crown Core with a 74mm diameter and 61mm Contact patch. This wheel is designed to have fun in the fastest way you can. Tuck hard and streamline the style of Max Ballesteros.
