Do you enjoy going fast? Doing large slides? Popping ollies and tricks? Slashing curbs and hitting alleyway banks? All of the above? Then the Rayne Strayne is the right board for you!
From his early days working at Boarder Labs, our favorite local skater Jake Ballantyne has been dedicated and determined to design and release a pro model version. We are proud to congratulate Jake on this amazing accomplishment and present you with his very own pro model, the Strayne!
The Strayne has a bamboo core sandwiched between layers of pre-tensioned triaxial fiberglass. Rayne’s pre-tensioned fiberglass weighs less and has more pop than other fiberglass. The Crush graphic is applied using sublimation to tattoo our graphics directly into the fiberglass. This keeps the deck light and provides a long-lasting, scratch proof graphic. Each deck has a semi-translucent, satin finish showing off the depth, grain and beauty of the bamboo core.
RAYNE STRAYNE:
- Bamboo fiberglass construction
- Length: 37.5” Width: 9.25”
- Wheelbase: 22.0”- 23.0”
- Weight: 4.5 lb
- Bamboo and Triaxial Fiberglass
- Shape: Directional
- Surface: Mild Rocker, Single Kick, Medium Concave
Jake Ballantyne shreds and designed the Strayne to be just as easy to ride as he makes it look. With mellow concave, rocker and a kicktail you have everything you need and nothing you don’t need! While the Strayne is intended for freeride and downhill, it’s still a super fun board to cruise around on thanks to it’s functional kicktail and shorter wheelbase. If you’re looking for a quiver killer that does it all, look no further!
