This hard durometer bushing features the APS Formula which will turn 10% to 15% more than the same durometer of other brands.

The Riptide APS Barrel comes in at 97.5a in durometer making it ideal for heavier-weight riders (170+ lbs). The barrel bushing shape offers the next step up in stability above our cones and are often used for a broad range of skating disciplines.

NOTE: APS rides a couple of points softer than they test, please order accordingly.

The Riptide APS Barrel Bushings are for use in standard trucks (such as Atlas, Bear and Caliber). Barrels offer an excellent balance between stability and control.

Riptide barrels offers the next step up in stability above Riptide’s Cones and are often used for a broad range of skating disciplines depending on the skater’s skill level and personal preference.

Awesome as a double-barrel application, but amazingly changeable when paired with a Cone, Chubby or Fat Cone.

Depending on whether you’re searching to find a carvy, surfy feel (Barrel/Cone), one with more stability (Barrel/Fat Cone) or one that is great for flat-out speed (Barrel/Chubby).

This bushing registers within the hard durometer bushing range and are for are for heavier weight (170+ lbs) riders and for those looking for a tight.

Please keep in mind, that APS bushings ride a couple of points softer than they test.

APS FORMULA:

As the name implies, this compound is very lively and offers high rebound with lots of control and lean. For the same durometer, the APS will turn 10% to 15% more than the same durometer of other brands. In addition, the APS does not change much when you tighten the kingpin nut past snug. We recommend tightening to the point where it is difficult to turn the bushing in the bushing seat by hand. Use a flat washer for lower resistance and a cupped washer for higher resistance.
