The RipTide APS Carver CX Surfskate Bushings will bring new life into your surfskate trucks!
This bushing registers within the hard durometer bushing range and are for are for heavier-weight riders ( 200+lbs) and those who are looking for a tighter setup. Please keep in mind, that APS bushings ride a couple of points softer than they test.
As the name implies, this APS compound is very lively and offers high rebound with lots of control and lean. For the same durometer, the APS will turn 10% to 15% more than the same durometer of other brands. In addition, the APS does not change much when you tighten the kingpin nut past snug.Â
PLEASE NOTE: For the best performance, please follow the following configuration as below:
The taller 0.65″ cone bushing is intended be installed on the board-side or as the 1st bushing, with the hanger removed.
The shorter 0.58″ cone is intended to be installed on the road-side or as the 2nd bushing, after the hanger is installed.
