The Riptide APS Barrel comes in at 85a in durometer making it ideal for lighter-weight riders (Over 85lbs). The Barrel bushing shape offers the next step up in stability above our cones and are often used for a broad range of skating disciplines.

The Riptide APS Street Barrel Bushings are for use in standard skateboard trucks (such as Independent, Thunder, and Ace). Barrels offer an excellent balance between stability and control. APS does not change much when you tighten the kingpin nut past snug.

With a soft durometer rating of 85a, this bushing is ideal for lighter-weight riders (Over 75lbs).

These are awesome as a double-barrel application, but amazingly dynamic when paired with a Cone.

Depending on whether you’re searching to find a carvy, surfy feel, or one with more stability, these Riptide APS Street Barrel Bushings will accommodate all with the right pairing configurations!

For a complete traditional kingpin setup you will need a set of regular height bushings boardside, and short size bushings roadside.

If you're all about bombing hills, you're gonna want a harder bushing for max stability. But if you're more into freeriding, a softer bushing's gonna be your jam. And don't forget about your weight, either. If you're a featherweight, go for a soft bushing. If you're packing some pounds, you'll wanna go harder.
