The Santa Cruz Skateboards Dressen Tribal Reissue deck drops February 2026, reviving one of the most iconic graphics from Eric Dressen’s legendary career. This 9.9″ x 31.4″ old school reissue features the bold Tribal artwork on a brown stain bottom with a black stained top, built on Dressen’s original shape with an adjustable wheelbase of 14.25″ to 14.75″ for fine-tuned performance. Pressed from 7-ply North American Maple using epoxy, the deck offers long-lasting strength, crisp pop, and consistent concave.
It’s outfitted with Santa Cruz’s Cruz Missile II concave—a tech-forward mold from the 1980s known for its aggressive side-to-side contouring, tail kick, and forward-set rocker.
That distinctive concave provides a locked-in ride, ideal for both modern bowl sessions and retro street slashing. A longer tail and shorter nose complete the classic directional feel, staying true to the board’s roots. More than a throwback, this reissue is a rideable tribute to Dressen’s impact on skateboarding. As one of the longest-standing companies in the game, Santa Cruz Skateboards has been shaping the culture since 1973.Â

Santa Cruz Skateboards, nestled in the skateboarder's paradise of Santa Cruz, California, burst onto the scene in 1973. Picture this: Richard Novak, Doug Haut, and Jay Shuirman, probably sporting some epic '70s hairdos, get together and say, "Hey, let's start NHS Inc. and shake up the skate world."Â
With over four decades of skateboarding smarts (that's like, 280 in dog years of skate knowledge), Santa Cruz isn't just a brand; it's a skateboarding legend. Thanks to the mind-blowing graphics from the artist extraordinaire Jim Phillips, their decks are more iconic than a rock star's guitar.
And let's talk about NHS's brand family – it's like the Avengers of skateboarding gear. They distribute the who's who of skate brands: Santa Cruz Skateboards (obviously), Creature Skates for the monster in you, Independent Truck Co. (the backbone of your board), Bronson Speed Co. (because who doesn't like speed?)!
