Thunder T-II Trucks represent the next evolution of one of skateboarding’s most proven truck designs, taking the fast, responsive Thunder feel and refining it with remastered geometry for modern skating. The updated proportions use a taller axle height to create more wheel clearance, helping reduce wheelbite and wheel drag while giving the truck a slightly more elevated, controlled stance. A redesigned hanger and baseplate relationship also increases baseplate slide contact, creating a smoother, more predictable feel when grinding ledges, rails and coping.
Built around Thunder’s reputation for quick turning and dependable strength, the T-II features a solid axle, solid kingpin and durable team-cast baseplate construction. New opaque teal single-taper bushings work with clear tapered pivot cups to deliver smooth articulation, sharp response and a consistent return to centre. The revised geometry keeps the trucks lively and maneuverable while adding confidence at speed and through harder turns. Whether you skate technical street, transition, bowls or an all-terrain setup, the Thunder T-II is designed to feel familiar from the first push while offering noticeable improvements in clearance, control and grind performance.Â

Thunder has been woven into street skateboarding for decades, standing as one of the most reliable and rider-driven truck brands ever built. Born under the Deluxe Distribution umbrella in San Francisco, Thunder emerged in the 1980s just as street skating was exploding and the need for lighter, sharper-turning trucks became undeniable. Where other companies chased beefier geometry and bulk, Thunder leaned into responsiveness, speed, and that signature quick snap that would eventually define an entire style of skating.
