Boarder Labs has a new ambassador for Victoria, BC!
Steve Mark grew up in White Rock where he begans skating at age 8. He now rides the streets and hills of south Vancouver Island where he lives with his wife and two kids, Kaylin (7) and Asher (5). The kids have their eyes on their dad’s quiver of longboards.
Steve is a local organizer and will put on Victoria’s 2nd annual Green Skate event this June, with support from Boarder Labs and Concrete Wave, among others.
He is involved with Longboarding for Peace and wants to see positive change around the world and in his community. “I’ve hooked up with Longboarder Labs because I want to showcase longboarding as a growing activity and to show that people of diverse demographic backgrounds can enjoy this activity.”
Most of all, Steve gets his stoke from linking a few turns together when the day is done and he has time to chill.
