More great news for the longboarding community in BC! A longboard dedicated path is opening up in South Surrey this summer.
Longboarder Labs and our events director Ching Ho has been involved with the parks planning. Graham Collingwood from Landyachtz was key in creating the proposal that won over the Surrey Parks Board along with RCMP Officer and skater Troy Derrick who spearheaded the operation.
The South Surrey longboarding site will give new longboarders a safe off-street place to practice. This path is the pilot project that will create an opportunity for more dedicated longboarding spots throughout Vancouver.
