October 17, 2026. Doors open at 6AM EST CalStreets.
Trainers, set your alarms. Skaters, assemble your crew. Your next favourite Pokémon collectible is going to need a lot more room than a binder pocket.
The Pokémon Trading Card Game × Santa Cruz skateboard collection lands at CalStreets / BoarderLabs on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and we’re opening the shop at 6 a.m. Eastern Standard Time for launch day.
Our last Pokémon drop was a huge success, bringing collectors and skaters together over a shared obsession: incredible artwork, favourite Pokémon, and that feeling when you finally get your hands on something you’ve been chasing.
Now we’re ready for the next round. And this time, the Trading Card Game takes centre stage.
From the Binder to the Board Wall
You know the feeling. You spot a familiar card across the room. The colours, the artwork, the Pokémon—you recognise it before you can even read the name.
Now picture that artwork on a Santa Cruz skateboard.
This collection brings original Pokémon TCG card art into full deck designs, with backgrounds that draw on the Pokémon, their Energy types, and the cards themselves. The release features 30 card-art designs, with randomly assorted 8″ × 31.6″ blind-bag decks and a limited-edition Pokémon Player’s Guide booklet showcasing the lineup. Think pack-opening anticipation, scaled up for your skate collection.
So, who’s on your personal chase list?
Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur: The Original Heavy Hitters
For the collectors who still get a rush from a yellow-bordered classic, start here.
Venusaur brings a blast of green with its unmistakable card artwork framed by leafy graphics. Charizard turns up the heat with a red, orange and yellow flame-covered deck. Blastoise answers with crashing blue-and-white water graphics.
Seeing these three together hits straight in the nostalgia.
Maybe you were Team Fire from day one. Maybe Blastoise was the pride of your binder. Maybe you’ve spent years explaining why Venusaur deserves more love. Whatever your original starter allegiance, these decks make a serious argument for clearing some wall space.
And Charizard fans? You’ve got more to look at. The lineup also includes two M Charizard-EX designs, featuring the Crimson Dive and Wild Blaze card artwork. Orange fire or blue-flame intensity—good luck choosing your favourite.
Eeveelution Collectors, Your Wall Has a New Problem
Eevee fans are getting plenty of reasons to zoom in.
The artwork includes Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon ex, Vaporeon-GX, Dark Espeon, Leafeon LV.X, Sylveon V, Umbreon VMAX and Glaceon VSTAR.
That’s a whole lot of personality across one collection: Flareon’s blazing colours, Vaporeon’s flowing water, Sylveon’s pink ribbons, and Glaceon’s snowy landscape.
Then there’s Umbreon VMAX, with that instantly recognisable moon-reaching artwork. You already know which friends will have their eyes on that one.
Building an Eeveelution display? Choosing one favourite might be the toughest decision of launch day.
Gengar, Mewtwo and the Legendary-Level Lineup
If your collection leans towards eerie artwork, powerful Pokémon and dramatic graphics, there’s plenty to get excited about.
Gengar-EX arrives surrounded by deep purple swirls and that wonderfully wicked grin. Rocket’s Mewtwo ex brings Team Rocket attitude. Giratina V pairs intricate card artwork with bold pink-and-black graphics, while Mew ex goes in a completely different direction with dreamy pink colour and floating bubbles.
Then look at Lugia-EX, framed by electric blue graphics, and Rayquaza, with its black Pokémon artwork against a sweeping cosmic background. Xerneas adds a burst of colour, while Flygon δ brings a sweeping landscape into the mix.
These are the kinds of decks that make you stop mid-conversation, point at the wall and say, “Okay. That one.”
Pikachu and a Whole New Wave of Favourites
Of course, Pikachu is in the mix—and the artwork goes big.
Pikachu ex brings a bright, crystalline look, while Pikachu & Zekrom-GX delivers a full TAG TEAM moment with lightning running through the deck graphics.
You’ll also spot Dragapult ex and Iono’s Bellibolt ex, giving newer-era TCG fans their own favourites to chase.
Rounding out the pictured lineup are Gardevoir, Lucario LV.X, Blaziken FB LV.X and Scizor. From soft pastel colour to fiery reds and sharp metallic imagery, there’s enough variety here to spark some serious debate about the best-looking deck.
Bring your opinions. We fully expect everyone to have them.
The Gold Chase
For collectors who live for the unexpected reveal, Santa Cruz has also announced three additional glitter gold foil variants, featuring collages of Pokémon TCG cards from around the world.
Each gold variant is limited to 500 worldwide.
These are randomly assorted blind bags, so the reveal is part of the experience. Your favourite Pokémon is a wish-list pick, and a gold variant is a chase—not a guaranteed pull.
Get the group chat going. Compare your favourites. Decide which Pokémon gets the prime spot on your wall. Vancouver, we’ll see you at 6 a.m EST. Let’s make this drop legendary.
CALSTREETS Vancouver’s Pokémon Skateboard Launch Starts at 6 A.M. EST.
CalStreets has been part of skateboarding since 1978, and drops like this remind us why we still get so fired up about a great deck graphic.
Some of you will arrive knowing every card by name. Some will be looking at the shapes and imagining a fresh setup. Others will be planning exactly where that dream deck belongs on the wall.
That’s what makes this crossover so much fun. There’s room for the lifelong skater, the dedicated TCG collector, and the person who happens to be both.
Going Big: Limited NHS Boxed Sets of 10 for VIP Collectors
For the serious collectors already thinking beyond a single deck, we’ll have NHS sealed boxed sets 2 boxes of 5 = 10 Pokémon skateboard decks available to VIP collectors in limited quantities.
If your collecting style is closer to “clear the display wall” than “find a little space on the shelf,” this is the launch-day option to keep on your radar. These limited boxed sets bring a whole new scale to the excitement.
