The Pokémon Company and Santa Cruz skateboards. The Pokémon community hasn’t seen a collection this sparkly since the legendary collection. Both brands starting from humble beginnings to rise up to their respective positions in the pantheon of human culture. The Pokémon company/GameFreak founded in 1996 by Satoshi Tajiri, an avid collector of bugs in his childhood. He took that love of catching bugs and used it to create the largest IP in the history of collectibles. Santa Cruz has a similar story, Founded in 1973 by surfer Rich Novak. Originally selling surfboards he made a single batch or skateboards and never looked back. Santa Cruz is the oldest continuous skateboard company in the world. Two powerhouses coming together to create a super collaboration like Reshiram fusing with Kyurem.
Now that we have laid some groundwork for the collaboration lets get down to the facts. With 20 different variants in the set, all 8″x 31.6 and loaded into a blindbag. Just like cracking packs, you never know what your going to get. 15 of them are regular holofoil variants including Pikachu, Mew, Mewtwo, Gengar, Magikarp and the illustrious Kanto starters and there respective evolutions. The other 5 variants are another situation all together, only 50 of them were made worldwide. Adorned with a special gold foil these 5 variants include Pikachu, Eevee, Gyarados, Mimikyu and the ever sought after Charizard. These decks are so limited they would make a Gholdengo blush. Were expecting these boards to have more hype than a moonbreon, so buckle up and get ready for September 13! Limit of 5 per customer, we dont want the crypto bros to buy us out. Nice and fair for everyone and we don’t get put in a Rattle video.
If you wanna be the very best, like no one ever was. To catch them all is your test, to train them is your cause. To train them is your cause. You will travel across the land, searching far and wide. Teach Pokémon to understand, the power thats inside these blindbags. Written by Slime
