The Tiny Metal Guardians of Your Wheels
Let’s talk about something every skater should check before dropping in… your nuts.
These little heroes might look small, but they’ve got one very serious job: keeping your wheels attached to your trucks while you’re busy pretending gravity is optional.
Each nut features a nylon lock insert that bites onto the axle threads so your wheels don’t slowly loosen themselves into an unscheduled yard sale halfway through a session.
Before every session, give your board a quick once-over and make sure your nuts are tight and your hardware is solid.
Otherwise you might find yourself missing a wheel mid-hill and grinding your hanger like a medieval cheese grater.
At that point gravity takes over and the pavement starts asking very personal questions.
Loose nuts lead to loose wheels. Loose wheels lead to surprise physics lessons.
So check your setup, tighten your hardware, and keep your ride rolling exactly where it should — under your feet instead of somewhere down the street.
