The Blockhead Skateboards Mark Partain “Indian World” reissue is a standout item for skateboard collectors and enthusiasts. This deck features original artwork by Ron Cameron, with six-color screen printed graphics on the bottom by Damon Mills and a single-color screen print on the top.
The deck dimensions are 10″ x 30.75″, with a 7″ tail, a 15.125″ wheelbase, and a 4.375″ nose, made from 7-ply maple. The reissue retains the original shape and concave but has a new school hole pattern, allowing it to be set up with modern trucks.
One of the unique aspects of this reissue is its hand screen-printed custom day-glo full board background. Because they are hand printed, each deck has some variance in the background. This limited run includes only 67 decks, pressed by Watson Laminates and finished by G&S Skateboards.
Blockhead Skateboards was founded in 1985 by Dave Bergthold in a northern California garage. Over the years, it has housed notable professional skateboarders such as Rick Howard, Jim Gray, Jeremy Wray, and Omar Hassan.Â

Blockhead Skateboards, which took its roots in a Northern California garage in 1985 under the leadership of Dave Bergthold, had a remarkable journey that spanned approximately a decade. During this period, CALSTREETS played a crucial role in distributing Blockhead skates throughout Canada in the '80s. This collaboration led to the forging of enduring friendships, unforgettable moments, the launch of successful careers, the creation of iconic skate ramps, and a wealth of unforgettable skateboarding experiences.
The impact of Blockhead on the skateboarding world was profound and multifaceted. Be it the original and striking artwork by Ron Cameron, the intense and heated sessions on 'The Blockhead Ramp,' or the numerous talented individuals who emerged from this era to leave their mark on the skateboard industry as professionals and industry shapers, Blockhead's legacy remains deeply ingrained in the fabric of skateboarding history.
