Before tracking numbers were checked 47 times a day and before everyone expected a box to teleport to their porch overnight, CalStreets was already shipping skateboards, parts, wheels, trucks, stickers, and assorted skate weirdness across Canada.
This CalStreets Boarder Labs postage-style sticker is a tribute to that mail order legacy. Inspired by classic Canadian postage, Vancouver landmarks, maple leaves, postmarks, and old-school stamp artwork, it celebrates the shop’s long connection to Canada Post and the skaters who kept the mailman busy for over 45 years.
CalStreets has been around since 1978, and mail order has always been a huge part of the story. Long before online checkout buttons and automated shipping emails, skaters were calling, writing, ordering, waiting, and hoping their new deck showed up before the weekend session. This sticker captures that whole feeling: part skate shop history, part Vancouver postcard, part “where’s my package?” comedy.
The purple 15-cent version keeps it classic and collectible, with a vintage postal look that feels like it came out of a drawer full of old skate stickers, shop receipts, and forgotten grip tape scraps. The blue 20-cent version carries the same idea with a fresh colourway for collectors who know one stamp is never enough.
A sweet throwback tour of CalStreets! Of course Spike the cat greets you with her trademark meowl.
