The ONSRA VELAR 2.0 Gear Drive is an all-terrain electric skateboard built for long rides, sweeping carves and routes that mix smooth asphalt with rougher ground. Its 200 mm pneumatic tyres take the edge off cracked pavement and packed gravel, while CNC-machined aluminium channel trucks give the board a planted feel through wide turns. You can also tune the feel of the stock tyres by adjusting the air pressure to suit the riding surface. The ONSRA NX remote lets you set acceleration and regenerative braking separately, with each adjustable from 10 to 100 percent.
ONSRA VELAR 3500W MOTORS:
Two 3,500 W 6384 motors drive the rear wheels through a 4.3:1 gear ratio. The setup gives the VELAR the pull to accelerate out of turns and carry momentum uphill, with a manufacturer-rated top speed of 65 km/h on the stock 200 mm tyres. Set the throttle for a gradual roll-on if you prefer a relaxed cruise, or dial up the response for quicker acceleration as you straighten out after a carve.
ONSRA VELAR BATTERY:
A 1,036 Wh Samsung 50S battery powers the VELAR 2.0. The 14S4P, 20 Ah pack delivers a rated 60 km of range with the stock 200 mm all-terrain wheels, giving you room to link several stretches of a route in one ride. The pack recharges in approximately four to five hours. An O-ring-sealed, IP65-rated fibreglass enclosure helps protect the electronics against dust and water jets.
ONSRA VELAR DECK:
The carbon fibre deck measures 36.3 × 11.1 inches and is paired with a 38-inch wheelbase and a carbon fibre battery enclosure. The complete board weighs 19.4 kg (42.7 lb) and has a manufacturer-rated maximum load of 150 kg (330 lb). The wide platform, air-filled tires and high-capacity battery make this a setup for riders who want to link up long stretches of pavement with rougher terrain in the same session.
ONSRA NX REMOTE:
The VELAR is controlled with the ONSRA NX wireless remote, giving riders smooth and predictable control over acceleration and regenerative braking. The remote system has been developed to provide the progressive throttle response expected from ONSRA rather than the abrupt acceleration sometimes found on smaller electric boards.
