These bushings are for use in standard skateboard trucks (such as Independent, Thunder, Ace, etc.) and are also fully compatible for the Yow Meraki S5 surfskate trucks. The short street cone (0.4″) bushing shape offers the most movement in your skateboard trucks, and allow your trucks to easily achieve their full lean and turn without loosing the feel of the truck. Short Street cone is most ofted used in the Road-Side (Top) position.

In addition, the street barrel (0.5″) bushing shape offers the next step up in stability above the cone bushings and are often used for a broad range of skating disciplines depending on the skaters skill level and personal preference.

Overall, this setup of Short Street Cone/ Street Barrel is for riders looking for still a super carvy feel but with a bit more stability (Especially at higher speeds). With this choice the resistance is more constant (linear) than a Cone/ Cone setup.

This bushing set registers within the medium durometer bushing range and are for are for medium-weight riders (75lbs – 135lbs) and those who are looking for a tighter setup. Please keep in mind, that APS bushings ride a couple of points softer than they test.

RipTide

RipTide + CalStreets Bushings Pivot Cups Canada Pickup Vancouver RipTide's all about designing and developing the sickest gear out there, no doubt. When you're searching for the perfect bushing, you gotta focus on three things: how you ride, the shape of the bushing, and the durometer.

The durometer of a bushing is what determines whether it's hard or soft. And that's what's gonna give you that sweet lean you're looking for. But when you're picking out the right durometer, you gotta consider two things: your riding style and your weight.

If you're all about bombing hills, you're gonna want a harder bushing for max stability. But if you're more into freeriding, a softer bushing's gonna be your jam.

And don't forget about your weight, either. If you're a featherweight, go for a soft bushing. If you're packing some pounds, you'll wanna go harder.
