The Santa Cruz John Lucero Street Thing Reissue brings back one of Lucero’s unmistakable 1980s shapes for the first time ever. Measuring 10.18″ x 30.1″, the SC-460 shape features a wide old-school profile, 6.95″ tail and an extra set of front truck mounting holes that lets you choose between a 14.75″ or 15.25″ wheelbase. Finished with a full dip and metallic Street Thing artwork, this reissue stays true to the attitude and proportions of the original while using modern Santa Cruz construction.
The deck is built from seven plies of North American maple, individually pressed with epoxy for strength, consistent concave, responsive feel and long-lasting pop. Underfoot is Santa Cruz’s legendary Cruz Missile II concave, an aggressive 1980s-inspired design combining deep side-to-side shaping, pronounced tail kick and forward-set rocker to help lock your feet into position. The longer tail and shorter nose make it equally at home cruising, carving or skating transition.
Founded in 1973 by Richard Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman through NHS, Santa Cruz Skateboards remains one of skateboarding’s longest-running and most influential brands, with decades of iconic shapes, graphics and technical innovation behind it.

Santa Cruz Skateboards, nestled in the skateboarder's paradise of Santa Cruz, California, burst onto the scene in 1973. Picture this: Richard Novak, Doug Haut, and Jay Shuirman, probably sporting some epic '70s hairdos, get together and say, "Hey, let's start NHS Inc. and shake up the skate world."
