The Prime Skateboards Jef Hartsel World Industries Globes is s super sick reissue. Its a board done right, quality wood, American made, graphics applied the traditional way. Makes for a perfect rider or a very tasteful wall hanger.
Prime was originally founded in 1930 by an Italian American named Ceasare Tuccinardi. This hard working young man didn’t make skateboards though, he made some of the best furniture around all by hand! Fast forward 34 years, Prime had began curving plywood for some of its furniture. Big deal? Yeah you bet, this led to Prime being one of the companies to produce the first kick tail skateboards in 1968.
They are one of the earliest mass producers of skateboards, with past clients such as Steve Rocco, Rodney Mullen, Z Boyz, Madrid, 101, Plan B, World Industries, Flip, Baker, Firm, and so much more. At one point Prime was producing 2.4 million decks a year and was in full operation 24/7. Prime today produces decks in Los Angles and are all employed are passionate skateboarders, so you know your deck is getting the right care and attention before it even hits the shelf.
