Longboard Club’s Dec 5 event “The Grinch Who Stole Stokemas” held the first weekend after classes ended launched the holiday season for UBC longboarders. There was a surprisingly big turnout considering the stormy weather for the night ride around campus, hillside slide jam and series of races at secret locations around campus.
Prizes were given out throughout the night for festive outfits, steazy slides and race winners! Ugly Christmas sweaters were rewarded with prizes – the uglier the better.
