This Jesse Martinez board is the holy grail for any transition skater! This late 80’s reissue deck will put any quarter pipe on fire and give you an authentic vert/tranny skating experience. Like many boards of that era, this deck has a longer 15.5″ wheelbase, with overall length being only 30.25″. This combination allows for a great stability when skating ramps, while still being nimble and light. Featuring a slight concave with a single kick tail this spacious USA made deck is a must have for anyone who loves classic Dogtown boards just like they were back in the day. Put some 169’s, or 159’s if you wish to use a wider wheel, and you are ready to grind the coping all day long. Dogtown Skateboards will have you ripping, just like you did back in the day, or experience the ride of your life for the first time.
From the dog days in the early 70s, Dogtown has been at the epicenter for the progression of skateboarding. Born in Santa Monica California, perhaps one of the most celebrated brands after the release of the Dogtown and Z-Boys documentary, this is one forgotten slum by the sea that came in like a tidal wave.
With the traditional skate style at the time not appealing to the daring surfers, the boys brought the surf to the street. This aggressive approach brought a whole new wave of style that would ignite a whole new generation.
These boards are produced by Watson, one of the original and best manufactures in the industry. They produce them in America in their state of the art board making facility. With decades of experience, you can’t go wrong with Watson.
