Born in Santa Monica California, perhaps one of the most celebrated brands after the release of the Dogtown and Z-Boys documentary, this is one forgotten slum by the sea that came in like a tidal wave.
With the traditional skate style at the time not appealing to the daring surfers, the boys brought the surf to the street. This aggressive approach brought a whole new wave of style that would ignite a whole new generation.
