Billy Ruff’s G&S Graphic “ Puppet Bomb” on a fully dipped board. The deck is a mid 80’s reissue with original artwork by Miq Wilmont. This G&S board will shred the hell out of your favorite parks, pools, & ramps and more. This is a 7 ply maple deck, made at Watson Laminates in San Diego, CA. Nice roomy shape with a wide tail combined with longer wheelbase will surely freshen up the tranny experience and add confidence.
Billy Ruff have been riding his entire career for G&S. He started skating at 13 and by 15 he already turned pro. Talent plus perseverance? You need both when completing against titans like Hosoi and Blender. At some point, Billy was dominating virtually every contest and he won 15 of them between 1983 and 1985. That’s 5 wins a year. Sure thing G&S couldn’t take a chance of losing such a gemstone.
This week Kevin Staab and Billy Ruff check out some clips from the Del Mar Skate Ranch and guess whether McGill has got the McTwist yet. See Mike McGill, Jeff Grosso, Neil Blender, Ken Park, Billy Ruff and more on this episode of VHS VAULT. ’80s professional skateboarder Kevin Staab and a weekly guest dust off the old VHS tapes to share some never-before-seen skateboarding footage.
