The Landyachtz Evo Spectrum 40 provides a level of demanding nature of modern DH racing without sacrificing its’ championship winning DNA or legendary stability!
The Evo is a classic example of downhill board design and the concept continues to be effective to this day. A lowered platform and directional wedging work to give you a super stable ride and front-loaded steering that gives you a ton of control while cornering hard. The Evo 40 is the larger of our two Evo shapes and offers unparalleled stability and a super controllable, drifty ride. Pressed with 10 plies of Canadian maple, the Evo 40 offers a stiff platform for downhill performance.
New this year, the Evo comes with 155mm Gen 6 Bear Grizzly trucks to give you a bit more of a defined hookup from drifts and more control over the steering.
Redesigned from the ground up and incorporating technology perfected in our high end DH and Freeride trucks, Gen 6 Grizzlies are the best performing cast trucks on the market today. Game changing strength and highly refined steering geometry are just the tip of the iceberg. In addition, the Evo rolls on 76mm 80a Monster Hawgs for lots of roll speed and grip as well as predictable drifts.
Designed to conquer steep neighborhoods and big mountain descents around the world, these are some of the most technically advanced boards in the lineup. Informed by 20 years of racing heritage and constantly updated to reflect the demands of modern DH skating, these are the highest quality, fastest, and most innovative downhill boards we’ve ever made. Features like dropped platforms and variable, technical concave will keep you locked in and stable as you get after it on your local hills.
