Chrome Ripper – OG Shape, Full Shine
This isn’t just a deck, it’s a time machine back to when vert walls ruled and graphics melted your brain. The Powell Peralta Chrome Ripper takes VCJ’s most famous graphic and blasts it onto a black-and-chrome checkerboard foil that’s as loud as the first time you dropped into a pool.
Flip it over and the top graphic is just as killer—Powell’s red winged dragon logo perched against a stealth black background
At 10” wide with a 16.25” wheelbase, this thing rides exactly like the OG late-80s shapes — wide, stable, and built for speed. The mellow SP0 concave locks your feet without feeling like a taco shell, and the short 3” nose / long 5.95” tail setup makes it perfect for slashing coping, launching off hips, or just cruising alleys like it’s ’88 all over again.
This board wants to grind, carve, and fly. It’s not some popsicle-stick street deck — it’s a beast of a shape that’s meant to feel solid under your feet, with enough platform to really plant tricks and enough tail to snap you into airs.
And that chrome foil? It’s one of the most iconic graphics ever pressed onto seven plies of maple, and this special chrome edition takes it into another dimension. Straight-up showstopper. Every flicker of light bounces off it like a disco ball in a drained pool. Hang it on the wall and it’s art. Set it up with some chunky trucks and 60mms, and it’s pure skate weaponry.
