The Santa Cruz VX Delfino Ego deck is hot off the press with flashy woodwork!
In addition, it features sweet dimensions making it equally amazing on the street or at the skatepark!
Not only does it look beautiful, the Santa Cruz VX Delfino Ego deck construction will outlast those standard 7-ply boards any day. The VX construction consists of 5-plys of hard rock North American Maple that gets reinforced by two layers of patented Santa Cruz Quad X Technology material.
The Quad X layers combine fiberglass and carbon fiber fabric, which are connected crosswise with each other. These special plies make up the top and second to last layer of VX decks.
Overall, this signature construction makes the VX decks both thinner and stronger than other boards on the market. The Quad X Technology material also makes these boards keep their pop longer than conventional 7 ply and premium wood!
This Santa Cruz VX Delfino Ego 8.25″ skateboard deck has a solid all around shape, designed for a technical street skater. Set this new deck up and get ready for crisp pops and well designed ergonomic concave.

Today we are hyped to talk about and put to the test Fabiana Delfino’s 8.25 x 31.6 ‘Flower Crew’ Pro Model VX Deck! VX decks are thinner, stronger, and have more pop than standard 7 ply decks featuring 5 plies of North American Maple and 2 layers of Quad X technology. Fabi designed this board herself and included a 14″ wheelbase for a quicker, more responsive ride. This board also features rad artwork by our friend Yaia aka @yaiagift! If you do not grab this one to shred, be sure to grab one to add some flare to the walls at home. We put The Big Dog himself Santa Cruz Skateboards Brand Manager Andrew Cannon to the test with some very Fabiana-esque tricks to find out how this setup skates!
