Slappy is revolutionizing the game with its new inverted kingpins!
This pair of kingpins are perfect for riders who crave smooth grinds with minimal kingpin friction.
These kingpins sit lower than the original design, significantly reducing friction during smith and feeble grinds. The innovative shaft nut ensures a tight fit in the baseplate, preventing wiggle over time, and remains securely in place when the truck is disassembled, eliminating the need to remove the baseplate from your board.
Slappy’s inverted kingpin design supports both a 9/16 wrench and a 5.5mm Allen key, allowing you to use a T-tool for all adjustments without needing a special Allen key. This versatile set consists of industry standard sizing, which makes these compatible with any truck model.

All throughout the pandemic, when the world stopped, and things were locked down, I started messing with my trucks. I decided to start working on designs, and the sampling process began shortly after.
I went through so many different versions of the hangers and baseplates, experimenting with different bushings, bushing heights, hardnesses, turning radius, kingpins, polishes, and the list goes on for over two years. I finally got the truck to where I really like it.
The main thing I wanted in a truck was to have the best grind clearance I could get without messing up the turn I wanted.
I also wanted the truck to be strong, light, and have a classic look and feel. At the end of all this, it’s just me in my garage trying to create something new with Slappy trucks. - Mike Sinclair
