The Alva Splatter features original mellow concave with old and new school truck mounting bolt pattern so either modern or vintage trucks can be installed. The wheel wells are elongated towards truck baseplate area, just like in the old days. This board has a squared tail and shorter nose. The silk screen artwork features black background with red/silver classic Alva splatter logo. This board comes pre-gripped with signature Alva grip.
The Alva Splatter is an original deck suitable for bowls, ramps, or cruising, giving the board an authentic O.G. look and feel. The Splatter is 10.5 inches wide, and has a 16.625″ wheelbase. It’s a wider board that boosts confidence when riding transition and gives you more surface to work with.
Born in 1957 in Santa Monica, California, Tony was an original member of the Z-Boys skate/surf team when it was formed in the mid 1970’s. Tony’s intense surf style approach to skating ignited a flame that became the blazing fire that is modern skateboarding. He was one of the original backyard barge and charge pool skaters, and was the first person to ever get a shot of himself doing a frontside air.
Alva has always had shapes and graphics that are ahead of the game, and extremely high quality. To this day Alva creates shapes that fit the individualistic needs of modern pool and transition skaters. The graphics are feature hand screening with beautiful colours, and the boards have perfect sanding to feel just right in your hands. Alva truly a top of the line skateboard company, with the history and knowledge to back it up!

A founding member of the legendary Z Boys — the teenagers out of Venice, California, who defined skateboard culture in the 1970s and whose influence stretches across generations — Alva reflects on what it means to buck the trend. On what it means to zig when everyone else is zagging. On what it means to be a renegade.
