Created in 2015 by CalStreets founder and former Sims Team Freestyler Rick Tetz, the event pays homage to the late, great Blade, and also marks the first retail fingerboard park in Canada. It’s creation sparked a dedicated community that continues to thrive and grow.

The first Blade Park Fingerjam 2015, held on November 28th, was a huge success at CalStreets. The cold morning couldn’t dampen the excitement in the air as riders arrived ready to compete, bringing food donations for local animals. The park was buzzing with activity as participants warmed up and practiced their moves on the mini ramp, rails and park.
The competition was fierce as 18 riders faced off, showing off their best tricks in hopes of taking home the win. The finals were a particularly intense and thrilling head-to-head battle that left everyone on the edge of their seats. The event was made possible by sponsors CalStreets, Blackriver Fingerboards and Blade Park.
Blade Pro Shop has been organizing the Fingerjam contest at their pro park since 2015, making it a must-have for fingerboard enthusiasts. Make your ramps and obstacles stand out while sending good vibes to our late skate kitty Blade.Â
Fingerjam needed to happen. But unlike other events / contests, this one was going to be for all the locals who have only ever had the chance to view them from behind a computer.
Fingerjam is an event like no other. Edgy and more intense, while still a relaxing fun time. Our unique contest style of the first event is going to take the top 4 participants with the best runs and have a mini tournament with head to head skate games.
