Jerry Madrid started shaping surfboards in his parent’s garage back in the late 1960’s. When he couldn’t surf, he shaped skateboards for himself and his friends.
Then in 1976, while he was working as a firefighter, he enlisted the help fo his brothers Jeff and Jim and started Madrid.
Madrid was one of the first to develop modern concaves, and they did a number of sweet collabs, including Vans, Back to the Future and Stranger Things!
