Famous for his sweet layback style, Jay Smith was a Powell Peralta pro way back in 1980. He wow’d the
crowds by essentially laying back so far on his lay backs you would never think he could stand on the board again!
This deck is nothing but classic. It features the right neon famous in the early Brite Lite days of Powell. It also has wheel wells and a very true shape to the original/ Its a very flat plank with no kick nose, the graphic on the top pre-dates the dragon design and is era correct.
Hats off to you Powell! So if your not lucky enough to own an OG, then grab one of these for your collection, or dare do I say ride? It is a skateboard after all, and a high quality one at that.Â
This Powell Peralta Jay Smith deck features the FK2 concave. A mold designed to give a great old school feel to Powell’s impressive reissue skateboards. The mold is designed for functionality and is a strict single kick.
