At 82a, this new formula will reduce the chunking which is common in the 75a or 80a wheels. You could describe the 59mm 82a G-Slides as an upgraded RoughRider that resists chunking and slides much easier.
The new 82a Soft Slide Formula (SSF) found in the 59mm G-Slides will further widen the offerings from Powell-Peralta. This 82a formula will be grippier than the 75a SSF you’ve come to rely on while offering a more sugary and in the pavement feel.
Being 82a, this wheel will also resist chunking and chipping and is a superior choice for dancing, freestyle, or those who want a bit more engagement with the road.

Powell Peralta is an American skateboard company founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta in 1978. It became known for its Bones Brigade team, which included top skateboarding competitors of the 1980s.
Peralta left the company in 1991 and Powell continued to produce skateboard equipment under the Powell, Bones Bearings, and RollerBones brands. CalStreets or CSI was the company's second distributor in Canada after Northwest Skateboards.
