The RipTide APS Short Street Barrel Bushing set are the perfect way to bring like to your trucks!
These bushings are for use in standard skateboard trucks (such as Independent, Thunder, Ace, etc.) and are also fully compatible for the Yow Meraki S5 surfskate trucks.
Included are two (2) short street barrels and two (2) flat washers barrels to accommodate most traditional kingpin trucks such as Independent.
The short street barrel (0.4″) bushings shape offers the next step up in stability above the cone bushings and are often used for a broad range of skating disciplines depending on the skaters skill level and personal preference.
This bushing set registers within the hard durometer bushing range and are for are for heavier-weight riders (135lbs – 200lbs) and those who are looking for a tighter setup. Please keep in mind, that APS bushings ride a couple of points softer than they test.
As the name implies, this APS compound is very lively and offers high rebound with lots of control and lean. For the same durometer, the APS will turn 10% to 15% more than the same durometer of other brands. In addition, the APS does not change much when you tighten the kingpin nut past snug.
