Ryse Fingerboards is a brand born from resilience, built with intention, and fuelled by community. Founded in Ontario, Canada by Age Teles, Ryse began during one of the most difficult chapters of his life. In the search for a way to keep moving forward and to channel grief into something constructive, fingerboarding became more than a hobby. It became an outlet, a focus, and ultimately the foundation for a brand rooted in purpose. From the very beginning, Ryse was never about chasing trends. It was about creating something meaningful that could connect people through creativity, movement, and shared experience.
What started as hands-on experimentation quickly grew into a serious pursuit of quality and identity. Long hours were spent learning, building, refining, and understanding what makes fingerboarding truly engaging, not just as a product, but as a culture. Boards were shaped and tested, obstacles were designed with realism in mind, and graphics were treated as a form of expression rather than decoration. That dedication paid off, and in October 2024, Ryse Fingerboards officially launched, immediately standing out for its authenticity and attention to detail.
Since its launch, Ryse has continued to gain momentum through action rather than hype. The brand has hosted events and contests, collaborated with artists and creatives, and released multiple graphic lines and obstacles that reflect both street influence and personal storytelling. A major milestone came through its partnership with SkaterXL, where Ryse Park was featured in-game, bridging the gap between digital skate culture and the fingerboarding world. With products now stocked in skate shops around the globe, Ryse has proven that a small, purpose-driven brand can reach far without losing its core values.
Community is the heartbeat of Ryse. The brand thrives on collaboration, drawing energy from artists, builders, riders, and supporters who each add their own voice to the project. Pro and AM riders, OG legends, and new talent all coexist under the same banner, reinforcing the idea that Ryse is not about hierarchy, but shared passion. Events hosted by the brand have become gathering points where creativity, support, and progression intersect, strengthening the sense of belonging that defines the Ryse identity.
At its core, Ryse Fingerboards represents growth through adversity and creation through connection. It is a reminder that fingerboarding can be more than tricks and obstacles; it can be a way to process, to heal, and to build something lasting. As the brand continues to expand with new events, collaborations, and releases on the horizon, Ryse remains grounded in the values it was built on ā honesty, craftsmanship, and community ā and it continues to rise with intention.
āI have been skateboarding since I was 10 years old and it has been a huge part of my life. I skated for a living into my mid-20s, but due to injuries I had to stop. Fingerboarding keeps that passion alive. I fell in love with fingerboarding so deeply that it became the reason I decided to start Ryse, and itās been incredible working with the Ryse family to get the brand off the ground. Iāll continue to work hard to put out the best products I possibly can.ā ā Age Teles, Founder of Ryse
