Longboard Completes
TRANSPORTATION – Escape the Grind
Forget the rat race—longboarding is your silent protest against traffic, timetables, and soul-sucking commutes. It’s fast, fun, and just rebellious enough to make every trip feel like you’re getting away with something.
No locks. No waiting. No engine failure. Just you, your board, and the streets. Tuck it under your arm, take it anywhere, and never worry about someone walking off with your ride. It’s freedom on four wheels, and it fits in your backpack.
Longboarding doesn’t just get you from point A to B—it lets you slip through the cracks, carve around the chaos, and find flow where everyone else is stuck in line. It’s not just transportation—it’s an exit strategy.
Freeride is a versatile and creative style of longboarding that focuses on powerslides and blending different riding techniques. It’s ideal for beginners learning speed control and board handling, but also appeals to advanced riders pushing the limits with stand-up drifts, spins, and switch slides. Freeride often includes the use of slide gloves for balance and control during slides.
Downhill longboarding is a high-speed, adrenaline-fueled discipline focused on racing, tight cornering, and technical slides. Riders reach speeds of 60 mph or more and rely on precise control, often using slide gloves for pre-drifts and aggressive turns. Due to its intensity and risk, downhill riding is best suited for experienced riders and is typically done with full-face helmets and protective gear on closed roads or in organized races.
But once you’re dialed, you can ditch the gloves and throw standing slides like a boss. Expert freeriders throw full-speed drifts down mountain passes with no hands and no fear.
