Take your transition game to the next level with Eddie Elguera’s Cat Eyes deck by Hosoi Skateboards! It rocks a tasteful directional double kick shape with a medium concave, with an elongated body and wheelbase for increased stability. Â
“Eddie Elguera a.k.a. “The Cat”: We skateboarded in empty swimming pools treating them as skateparks like those we have today, which only popped up in the late ’70s in southern California. Pretty soon, I started entering competitions and became world champ in 1979 and 1980. I invented lots of maneuvers. One of them is even called the Elguerial. I just used my imagination. I went from one trick and then I said to myself I can add to that and I can make it better or higher or different. I was known as the most innovative skater at that time.”
These limited run pressings sell out quick and are surely going to be collector’s items in the very near future. Made from 7-ply Hard Rock Maple in the U.S.A.
