Through Longboarding, L4P strives to increase joy and happiness, and decrease pain and suffering aroudn the global and have been teaming up with locals to make a difference. The goal is to build a global Peace Army of 50,000 people. Each of us will commit at least one act of kindness every single day. This will generate over 20 million acts of kindness per year.
Longboarding for Peace has left a mark all over the world. In San Diego L4P worked with local law enforcement and major longboard companies to create a drive where people can come and trade in fire-arms for skateboards thus reducing the number of guns in the public.
Thanks to Longboarding for Peace, October is know recognized as Blood from Boarders month. The month where skaters step up to give blood to save at least 3 lives. Patrick Switzer and Katie Nielson were just a few of the many big name downhill skaters that stepped up to give blood.
Through kindness, camaraderie and the true spirit of Longboarding, we’ll make the world a better place.
