Not long after, Carver introduced the CX truck, which had a more conventional skateboard truck appearance but still allowed for deep, surf-style carves. It was also more stable at higher speeds, making it an ideal option for skaters who wanted the thrill of surf-style carving while maintaining some of the stability of a traditional skateboard truck. The addition of the CX truck provided riders with choices for their specific riding style and preferences, cementing Carverās reputation in the skate industry. With Carver at the forefront, surf skating gained mainstream attention. Other companies began to develop their own versions of surf-skate setups, but Carver maintained its lead, continuously refining its products and partnering with surf industry icons like Taylor Knox and Yago Dora. These collaborations brought a level of authenticity to their brand, further bridging the gap between surfing and skateboarding.
