Building on the lessons Carver has listened and learned from riding bigger wheels and taller risers for more radical carving performance. As a result, they have scaled this concept down for a highly maneuverable mini that snaps and pumps like nothing you’ve ever ridden before. Made with a shorter Hyperspoon mold for a deep-dish nose concave and full tail kick on a shorter wheelbase, this little-big-board features big, juicy 70mm Ecothane wheels for crazy grip and deep-railed carves.
The Super Snapper’s performance comes from it’s precision-pivot Carver trucks, fast and grippy Roundhouse wheels and a 7 ply rock hard deck; each the result of over 20 years of surfskate innovation and experience. Made for the world market, it comes with the commitment to good design and durability that makes this board a true surfskate of the people so wherever you are, you can make waves.
CARVER C7 TRUCK:
The Carver C7 Truck is Carver’s Patented front truck which is designed to create the same fluid dynamic for a skateboard that a surfboard has in the water. What gives it this ability, is the extra axis of movement provided by the truck’s rotating arm. As a result, this gives the nose of the board lateral thrust, in addition to the usual rail-to rail turn.
The C7 dual-axis truck set is very fluid, like riding a single fin surfboard and replicating the lateral sway you feel as you pump for speed. The dual axis allows the rider to adjust both axis independently for fine tuning. It’s a bit heavier than the CX truck, but the internal spring system allows for a wide range of adjustment. The trailing arm and wide adjustment range make this truck better for faster speeds and fluid surfing.
The arm rotates smoothly on precision industrial thrust bearings, and is dampened by a fully adjustable, heavy-duty internal die spring. This allows each rider to customize the feel of their board. But at its core, the C7 is still a skateboard truck, with a traditional hanger and standard new-school mounting hole pattern ( 2.1”, or 2 3/32” long). In addition this will fit any new-school skateboard deck, while preserving the original wheelbase. That being said, these are the perfect trucks to accommodate this board, consequently if you are looking for a setup to carve your way through the streets, with the same fluid feel as a surfboard.

In the early 70’s legendary shaper Ben Aipa changed the face of modern surfing with his highly conceptual shape named “Da Sting”. Famous surfers like Mark Liddel, Buttons Kaluhiokalani & Larry Bertlemann took “Da Sting” to Oahu’s North Shore proving grounds and blew the surfing world away. This modern and progressive shape made previously impossible maneuvers possible. As the surfing world mourns the loss of Ben Aipa, Carver Skateboards pays homage to his legacy with the release of our own Aipa “Da Sting” surfskate and a short doc featuring Duke Aipa as he and his son Kolby Aipa carry the family the torch of Aipa Surfboards.
