DECOMPOSED PRIMO DESIDERIO “SONIC CORRUPTION” FREESTYLE DECK

A time capsule of 80s freestyle energy, reimagined for the modern-day skater. The Primo Desiderio “Sonic Corruption” deck isn’t just a tribute—it’s a living piece of skate history.
This unique board design is built around an original rubber stamp that Primo Desiderio used during the height of his Sea World show days in the 1980s. With the overwhelming number of fans and autograph requests, Primo created a custom stamp to keep up with the demand.
Now, over 40 years later, the original stamp is deteriorating—but not before making one final mark. Each deck is personally stamped using solvent ink and autographed with this original relic of skateboarding’s golden era.
Key Features:
- Width: 7.25″
- Length: 28″
- Wheelbase: 12.625″
- Nose: 5.375″
- Tail: 5.562″
- Concave: Ultra-mild concave focused only on the front angled nose
- Construction: 7-ply maple, USA made
- Deck Style: Single kick with a gentle rocker nose
- Topside: Natural woodgrain (varies slightly deck to deck)
- Graphic: “Sonic Corruption” pattern in glitch-wave black and white, nodding to analog distortion, CRT chaos, and 80s art-deco futurism
- Finish: Glossy clear coat over artwork
This deck strikes a perfect balance between 80s style and modern-day compatibility. Designed to match today’s truck sizing, the shape blends the iconic feel of Primo’s Sk8Kings kicknose decks with a toned-down rocker profile—creating a ride that feels both familiar and forward-thinking.
Crafted for pure freestyle expression, this deck features a flat standing platform for footwork precision and a nose that eases into a rocker starting just at the front truck holes—ideal for shove-its, caspers, and old-school tech tricks.
Each board is stamped and autographed with Primo’s original 1980s signature stamp—no two decks will be exactly alike.
Compatible Skids:
- Blistered Big Tail 5.86”
- Blistered Round 5.5”
Own a piece of freestyle heritage that’s both collectible and skateable. Final Words from Primo:“Freestyle is freedom. It’s about flow, feel, and finesse—not just flipping your board, but dancing with it.
This deck represents everything I’ve learned since the 80s, and I’m proud to share a little piece of that with every stamped signature. It’s the end of the stamp, but not the end of the story.”
