They help absorb more of the initial impact so your knees last longer. They also provide you with a little lift that isn’t as extreme and as a full riser pad. Can be used with regular riser pads or without. In addition, these shock pads will fit on new school, old school and longboard set ups as they have the holes to suit your needs!

The Independent NG Shock Pads are just what your board needs to give you that noticeable reduction of the overall vibrations while riding!

As a result, these shock pads are cushy yet thin. This allows them to take the edge off road vibrations while also giving your setup a touch more clearance for larger wheels. In addition, these shock pads can be paired with a riser as well!

Granting you with a subtle yet noticeable extra 0.125″ (1/8th) clearance, you will have increased turn and leverage. The fact that these risers are rubber also provides a safety net when street skateboarding.

Also easy to trim and use as a wedging adjustment to modify your truck’s steering geometry. These will fit on new school, old school and longboard set ups. They have the holes to suit your needs.
